Aerial Silks

A new and fun way to get fit! All fitness levels welcomed but prepare for a challenge! With moves both on the ground and in the air you will discover muscles you didn’t know you had! Want to have fun and get fit? Aerial Yoga is for you!

Coaches work to your specific needs on skills, level,  strength and flexibility. Students are also taught endurance by working in the air without coming down starting at 5 minutes and going up to 40 minutes. Choreography and and other skills are taught as well.

Aerial Straps

This class covers swinging planches, partner work, “roll up” work, and technique and choreography with the aerial straps. Bring tape for your wrists!

Lyra

Aerial Hoop or Lyra classes will focus on strength and flexibility first. At DAA we teach swinging Lyra and Spinning Lyra. Our focus on Lyra is more acrobatic. Bring on the tough skin and get ready to fly!

Contortion and Handbalance

This class is meant for those who are already relatively flexible. We train, and CONTORT in this class. We work our flexibility utilizing the popular apparatuses used in rhythmic gymnastic studios, the stall bars. We also work on hand balancing with and without canes.

Ground Acrobatics Kids/Adult

In this class you will learn basic gymnastic skills, Hand stands, Aerials, Illusions, Butterflies, Front and Back Walkovers, Tinsica, Back Handsprings. This is a crucial part to circus training. It helps to have some solid ground acrobatics if you are training to be an aerial acrobat and vice versa!

 

Kids Aerial Classes

Starting at the age of 6 children are invited into a world upside down! Monkey crawling around, climbing , swinging, and twirling are fun ways for kids to get fit without knowing it! So many go on to find they are extremely talented in the art in which we advance those kids into different classes to become trained acrobats!
